The fact that our little boylooks healthy part of a challenge for parents, the food is doing its part, ifvaried and colorful, our child will never be short of nutrients, and will besmiling and cheerful throughout the day, because food is the main source ofenergy we have.
This menu is an example whichshould follow the mothers of children who have served or are passing the firstyear of life, which reached a weight of 12 to 14 kilos. As not all babies areequal, this will depend also on how much to indicate our pediatrician and thebaby's adaptation to the food.
BREAKFAST:
1/2 cup of cereal, enriched withiron or a boiled egg (never more than 3 eggs a week)
1/4 cup whole milk with cereals
1/2 cup juice or cereal with fruitpuree (banana or strawberries)
A MADIA MORNING:
- A toast or whole wheat bun.
-1 To 2 tablespoons cream cheese(on toast)
-One cup of whole milk
LUNCH:
Half sandwich (tuna, egg or coldmeat) + half cup of green vegetables and 1/2 cup of juice.
MID AFTERNOON:
-1 Or 2 tablespoons diced cheese,or 2 to 3 tablespoons of sliced seasonal fruits + a glass of whole milk.
DINNER:
150 grams of ground beef or diced+ half cup of yellow vegetables (squash, pumpkin etc) or half cup of pasta,rice or potatoes + a glass of whole milk.
